Our trauma therapy sessions are designed to help clients heal from the effects of trauma, such as PTSD, childhood abuse, and sexual assault. We use evidence-based treatments, such as EMDR and trauma-focused cognitive-behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), to help clients process their trauma and develop coping skills to manage symptoms.
Our addiction recovery sessions are designed to help clients overcome substance use disorders and other addictive behaviors. We use evidence-based treatments, such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), to help clients identify triggers, develop coping skills, and maintain sobriety.
Our grief and loss sessions help clients process the emotional pain of losing a loved one or experiencing other significant losses. We provide clients with a supportive and compassionate space to express their feelings and work through the grieving process.
Our cultural identity sessions help clients explore their cultural identity and its impact on their mental health and well-being. We help clients understand the ways in which their cultural background shapes their beliefs and values, and work with them to develop strategies to manage cultural stressors and build resilience.
Our LGBTQ+ issues sessions are designed to provide a safe and supportive space for LGBTQ+ individuals to explore the unique challenges they face. We work with clients to address issues such as coming out, family and relationship dynamics, and discrimination, and provide them with the tools they need to build a fulfilling and authentic life.
Our parenting support sessions provide parents with the tools and strategies they need to navigate the challenges of raising children. We help parents develop effective communication skills, set boundaries, and build healthy relationships with their children.

outpatient behavioral health services to children, the general adult and geriatric
population.
Dr. Vivian Gonzalez is a licensed clinical psychologist with 46 years of extensive experience in general
clinical psychology, neuropsychology, psycho-diagnostics and psychotherapy. Dr. Vivian Gonzalez
graduated with honors as a Doctor of Clinical Psychology from Carlos Albizu University in 1991 and
received a Post-Doctoral degree in Psycho-p
Dr. Vivian Gonzalez is a licensed clinical psychologist with 46 years of extensive experience in general
clinical psychology, neuropsychology, psycho-diagnostics and psychotherapy. Dr. Vivian Gonzalez
graduated with honors as a Doctor of Clinical Psychology from Carlos Albizu University in 1991 and
received a Post-Doctoral degree in Psycho-pharmacology from the Nova Southeastern University in
2003. She has earned a Diplomait in Medical Psychology from the American Forensic Association, which
was followed by a Diplomait by the American Academy of Pain Management and by the American Board
of Disability Analysts. She is also a Level 3 Certified TEAM-CBT therapist.
